- Why do I need the Java Plug-in?
The interactive puzzles on this site require a web browser plugin called Java. (It's also referred to as Java Runtime Environment (JRE), or Java Virtual Machine (JVM).) Most of the today's web browsers either come with it preinstalled or will install it automatically the first time it is needed. In the event that automatic installation didn't occur properly, when you try to play an interactive puzzle a message will appear asking you to install the plug-in.
Java technology is provided by Sun Microsystems to enhance your web

automobiles, the Mars Rover, and many other places. This site uses Java

Printing
- When I print a puzzle (HTML - Normal Quality), the empty squares in the puzzle don't appear black.
You may need to set the option in your browser that tells it to print background colors of table cells.
- In Mozilla/FireFox, it's File -> PageSetup and then check "Print Background (colors & images)"
- In Internet Explorer, it's Tools->Internet Options -> Advanced -> Printing and then check "Print background colors and images."
Logging In
- I forgot my password or username. What should I do?
You can have a new password emailed to you, then you can change it to one of your choosing. Request New Password
